Pursuant to sections 12.1 and 12.2 of the Pharmacy Regulations, 2014 under the Pharmacy Act, 2012, routine pharmacy inspections/site visits ensure compliance with the Act, Regulations, By-Laws, and standards of operation or pharmacy practice established by NLPB and promote quality and safe pharmacy practice. During the on-site or virtual visit, the pharmacist-in-charge will work together with the Community or Hospital Practice Consultant, as applicable, to ensure regulatory requirements and standards are being met, while also providing an opportunity for questions.
