Second Call for Nominations – Board Representatives

SECOND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

NLPB is issuing a second call for nominations for board representatives in Zones 5 (Hospital Pharmacist) & Zone 7 (At-Large Pharmacists), due to an insufficient number of nominations received for the three positions available.

Nominations must be submitted no later than Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Please note, nominations for Zone 6 have closed; election information will be released next month.

Then submit your nomination form now for one of three positions open for election on NLPB’s board of directors.

 

The Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board’s (NLPB) mission is to protect the people of the province by governing the profession of pharmacy to ensure quality and ethical care.

As a board member, you would play a role in advancing the quality and safety of pharmacy practice in NL. NLPB needs your expertise on its board of directors.

 

NLPB is currently seeking nominations for:

  • Zone 5 (Hospital Pharmacist)
  • Zone 7 (At-Large Pharmacists)
    • Two representatives are required to be elected to represent Zone 7.
    • Zone 7 is open to all registered pharmacists regardless of their practice site.
Pharmacy professionals are entitled to be nominated and vote in the zone in which they practice the majority of their time.

A link to the NLPB bylaws which govern the election process and the timeline for this year’s election are below.

The deadline to submit completed nomination forms to NLPB by email, fax, or mail is Sunday, July 30, 2023.

The newly elected members will commence their three-year term following the announcement of the results during the Annual General Meeting (date to be announced).
