UPDATE for Saturday, Jan. 25: City of St. John’s to lift SOE at 6am

January 24th, 2020

ADVISORY: All of St. John’s community pharmacies will be permitted to open for regular business hours as of 6am on Saturday

The City of St. John’s has announced that the SOE will be lifted on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6am. At this time, St. John’s pharmacies will be permitted to resume regular business hours. Residents are still being reminded to only travel around the city if necessary at this time as snow clearing efforts are continuously taking place. Pharmacists are also encouraged to take advantage of medication delivery services when possible.

If you have to go to the pharmacy, for work or for medication, travel carefully and keep an eye out for pedestrians and snow removal vehicles.

Thank you – to the public, and our registrants, for your patience and cooperation during this time. Pharmacy care is an essential piece of NL healthcare, and patients deserve to access it for their safety and well-being.
